  • ACT Math of 21 or higher, OR Accuplacer Arithmetic of 71 or higher, or Accuplacer Elementary Algebra of 47 or higher
  • ACT English of 18 or higher, OR Accuplacer WritePlacer of 5 or higher

Students not meeting the ACT score requirements will need to take the Accuplacer Test. Students will be given the opportunity to take the Accuplacer here at GFH on the following dates: Tuesday, December 18 and Wednesday, December 19 in the testing center during 6th and 7th periods.

The cost is $3 for Math, $7 for Writing, and $15 for the entire suite. If students test at GFH, they will need to make the payment to TINA in the FINANCE office and bring the receipt with them to GFH’s Testing Center on the day of the exam. For those testing at GFC-MSU, they will need to bring a CHECK payable to GFC-MSU with them.

Regardless of the testing site, students will need an Accuplacer Test ID in order to schedule the Accuplacer exam. Students who don’t have an Accuplacer Test ID will need to create one by completing the following:

After completing the form, an email will be sent to the student's valid email address containing Accuplacer Test ID. This email will be generated immediately after the form is filled out. This requires one email per one person, just like the FAFSA.
